Australian History Curriculum @HISTORY Features

Features of @History

This digital resource for Year 9 Australian History students and up covers the ideas, events, people and technological changes that laid the foundations for the modern world we know today. These digital resources aim to 'fill a gap' in the traditional Year 9 history course by focusing on those areas that are new to the National History Syllabus.

INTEGRATED DIGITAL RESOURCE

A fully integrated and cross-referenced digital resource that can be used by individual students, groups of students or for whole class presentations.

24/7 WEBSITE

We have departed from the traditional textbook approach and produced materials which we believe are more in tune with student digital needs. We also believe that these materials are in accord with the emphasis on quality teaching nationally. The website will be available for whatever platform individual schools and students possess. (eg laptops, tablets or phones)

90 YEARS COMBINED KNOWLEDGE

Histoire founders Peter & Pamela Ricketson and John Guilly have a combined teaching experience in excess of 90 years and they confidently know what will work and what will not work in classroom situations, during independent study or at home.

NEW CURRICULUM FOCUS

Teachers of junior history, regardless of experience require readily accessible resources covering areas of the new National Curriculum which have hitherto not been resourced. We have deliberately focussed on these areas of the new National Curriculum.
